Memorial and protest snow sculpture. Representing Renee Good, this memorial depicts her with the blindfold of Lady Liberty, and a metal plate over her mouth representing censorship and silencing in her death.
This piece was sponsored by Poet Laureate Heid E. Erdrich. Project manager and sculptor Heather Friedli. Two snow sculpting teams that had their snow sculptures censored for speaking out against ICE and the cruelty of the Trump administration joined in to create this piece.
