North on the canadian border…
The Northern Terminus of the Superior Hiking Trail is located in Hovland, MN at a place called the 270* overlook. This Cook County location is where my SHT adventure began! This place overlooks for miles around. My painting in particular is looking southwest over where the SHT heads towards Grand Marais, viewing the adventure that lies ahead.
